The highly popular budget Android smartphone, the Moto G has been spotted in a new avatar by famous tipster @evleaks in what seems to be a rugged version of the device called the Moto G Forte
The Moto G has been selling like hot cakes in India and around the globe and while we cannot get enough of this smartphone, we have some more scoops on the device. It seems like the Moto G is going to make a comeback as an image of a rugged version of the smartphone has been leaked by @evleaks on twitter called the Moto G Forte.
The image is essentially a banner ad for the upcoming smartphone and shows a much more bulky looking Moto G. There is no other information but from the image it seems that the Moto G Forte will be properly sealed which points to the fact that the smartphone could be dust and water proof.
This could be a very smart move by Motorola as the added toughness would make the smartphone even more desirable especially in a country like India where weather conditions can get extreme. The last rugged smartphone from Motorola was the Defy XT which sadly didn’t do all that well in the country. There is no information on the specs or availability on the Moto G Forte but we will keep an eye on the handset.
