With Galaxy S8 or S8+ purchase, Reliance Jio Prime members get 448GB of 4G data with a monthly recharge of Rs 309
Reliance Jio is offering double data benefits to its users purchasing the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. Samsung announced Galaxy S8 and S8+ earlier in the day at Rs. 57,900 and Rs. 64,900 respectively.
Under the new offer, Galaxy S8 and S8+ buyers subscribed to Jio Prime membership will get 448GB of 4G data with a monthly recharge of Rs 309. The data will be distributed over next 8 months and Jio users will get 2GB data per day. Under Jio's Dhan Dhana Dhan offer, a monthly recharge of Rs 309 offers 1GB 4G data per day for 84 days. Jio's 4G offer for Galaxy S8 buyers starts from May 5 when the new flagship devices go on sale in India.
To recall, Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ feature 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch Infinity Displays and are powered by company's own Exynos 8895 processors. Samsung has trimmed down on bezels by dropping the front mounted home button and moving the fingerprint sensor to the back. The smartphones comes with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and support for expandable storage up to 256GB. Both feature 12MP rear camera with Dual Pixel technology, f/1.7 aperture lens and optical image stabilisation. The front camera has been bumped to 8MP with f/1.7 aperture.
Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ support Samsung Pay and come with WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS and USB-C port. The Galaxy S8 comes with 3000mAh battery while Galaxy S8+ gets a larger 3500mAh battery along with support for fast and wireless charging.
