Redmi has officially confirmed the launch date for the Redmi Note 9 series on Twitter. Scheduled for an official announcement on March 12 at 12pm, the Redmi Note 9 series will consist of the Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro. The upcoming Redmi Note 9 series handsets will replace the outgoing Redmi Note 8 series, which consists of the Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro(₹ 15999 at flipkart). Based on the details we have with us at the moment, we believe the Redmi Note 9 series will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 720G Mobile Platform with up to 8GB of RAM. We also think the Redmi Note 9 series will be charged using a USB Type-C cable. Whether it will sport a screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, a feature that is trending heavily of late, is hard to say at the moment.
