Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 8 alongside the Redmi Note 8 Pro in India on October 16. Since then, the smartphone has gone on sale a couple of times, and if you missed it, here is your chance to grab the smartphone, today. The Redmi Note 8 will go on sale today, November 5, through Amazon.in, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores.

Redmi Note 8 price in India starts at Rs 9,999 for the base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. It goes up to Rs 12,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration. Both models will be made available in Moonlight White, Neptune Blue, and Space Black colour options.

As for the sale offers, purchasers can avail a 10 percent instant discount for customers using Axis Bank cards. Further, Amazon.in is also offering five percent instant discount on HSBC Cashback card. Xiaomi also has offers for the Airtel users – customers with Rs 249 or Rs 349 prepaid plan will get double data benefits for a duration of 10 months.

Redmi Note 8 specifications

Redmi Note 8 comes equipped with a 6.3-inch FHD+ screen with a dot drop notch. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset. The phone has 4GB and 6GB RAM, and up to 128GB of internal storage. It packs a 4,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. It runs MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie. 

In the optics department, the Redmi Note 8 sports a quad rear camera setup: a 48MP Samsung GM1 sensor with f/1.79 lens + an 8MP Ultra-Wide lens + a 2MP depth sensor + a 2MP Macro lens. The 13MP front shooter is housed in the notch. Moreover, the smartphone has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It also comes with USB Type-C and a headphone jack.
