Realme 2 Pro teased with teardrop notch, non-faceted rear panel
The smartphone is seen in a new video posted by the company, with dual cameras at the back.
Realme will launch the Pro version of its Realme 2 smartphone on September 27 but it has decided to reveal its design ahead of the launch. The company has tweeted out a video promoting the brand and the upcoming Realme 2 Pro can be spotted in it. In contrast to the standard wide notch on the Realme 2, the Realme 2 Pro can be seen featuring a teardrop notch design in the video. The design is similar to its predecessor with a vertically aligned dual-rear camera setup, but there is no faceted design on the rear panel. A fingerprint scanner is also seen on the back.

There is still no concrete information about what hardware the Realme 2 Pro will pack. However, the smartphone is expected to be a more powerful version of the Realme 2. It is speculated to be priced below Rs 20,000 and might feature a better processor with more RAM and storage. The company’s last smartphone, the Realme 2 features a 6.2-inch HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch on top. It is said to sport an 88.8 percent screen-body ratio and its rear panel is made up of a scratch resistant 12-layer nano-tech composite material.
The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 Octa-core processor. It features a built-in AI Gaming Acceleration feature that is said to boost performance during gaming sessions. The device features triple-slots, two for SIM cards and one dedicated for an SD card. The Realme 2 is backed by a 4230mAh battery with AI Power Master technology that is said to smartly allocate resources for apps running in the foreground and in the background.
In terms of optics, Realme has equipped the handset with 13MP + 12MP dual-cameras on the back. On the front, it comes with an AI-powered 8MP lens that recognises 296 face points to suggest customised beauty effects, even in a group selfie.
