Poco has launched its new Poco C55 in India with a MediaTek Helio G85 processor. One other phone that's priced in this range and carries the same processor is the Infinix Note 12i which was launched in January of this year.

Poco C55 comes with a weight of 192g and a thickness of 8.8mm. It features a 3.5mm headphone jack, a micro USB Port, a 2+1 card slot, a single speaker and a fingerprint sensor on the back. The phone comes in Cool Blue, Power Black, and Forest Green and it has an eco-leather rear surface. 

The Infinix Note 12i is made of plastic and features a crystal-type design on the camera module. We get a power button with a capacitive fingerprint sensor and volume rockers on the right and on the left side the SIM tray is placed. It also comes in three colours; Force Black, Alpine White, and Metaverse Blue. It weighs 188g and is 7.8mm in thickness.

Poco C55 features a 6.71-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1650 pixels. It is protected by Panda Glass. 

The Infinix Note 12i features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display which also supports a 90Hz refresh rate. The display comes with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and Gorilla Glass protection.

Poco C55 is powered by a Mediatek Helio G85 processor, paired with 64GB 4GB RAM, and 128GB 6GB RAM. It runs on an optimised Version of MIUI 13 OS. 

Infinix Note 12i is equipped with MediaTek’s Helio G85 processor paired with 4/6GB RAM as well. It comes in two storage options which are the 4+64GB model, and the 6+128GB variant. The phone runs on Infinix OS XOS 10.6 based on Android 12.

Poco C55 is equipped with a single 50-megapixel primary camera on the back and along with that a 5-megapixel selfie shooter on the front.

Infinix Note 12i comes with a dual camera setup which has a 50-megapixel camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

Poco C55 packs a 5000mAh battery with the support of 10-watt charging, whereas Infinix Note 12i packs a 5000mAh battery but with 33-watt of fast charging support.

Price and Availability

The Poco C55 is not available anywhere yet but on February 28, it’s coming on sale and it will start from ₹9,499 on Flipkart. There are launch offers too which can sweeten the deal. Meanwhile, the Note 12i starts from ₹9,999 on Flipkart.
