Oppo has officially announced that it will launch its next flagship, the Find X9 series, in China on October 15. While the brand hasn’t confirmed a timeline for India yet, the smartphones have already been spotted on the BIS certification database, hinting that an India debut may not be far away. Ahead of the launch, the phone’s key specifications have been tipped on the internet. As per the leak, the phone will feature a 6.59-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, “R-angle” curves, and ultra-narrow, uniform bezels for a sleeker front look. Oppo has confirmed that MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset will power the Find X9 series. The SoC comes paired with the Arm G1 Ultra GPU, delivering up to 33% faster rendering and 42% improved energy efficiency compared to its predecessor. This should result in smoother frame rates and more efficient power usage during gaming and graphics-heavy tasks. Oppo is also introducing a custom cooling system.
Additionally, the Trinity Engine is claied to be the industry’s first unified computing power model on Android. It balances CPU, GPU, and DSU resources at the system level, with over 90% accuracy in power allocation, allowing for optimised performance while keeping battery drain in check.
The Find X9 could pack a 7,000mAh unit, while the Find X9 Pro might get an even larger 7,500mAh battery.
On the optics front, Oppo will continue its partnership with Hasselblad, bringing tuned rear camera systems to the Find X9 series, although exact sensor details remain under wraps.
