Oppo Find N6 foldable tipped to be tested in India: What to expect

Oppo launched its Find N5 foldable in China earlier this year, and now attention is turning to its possible successor, the Oppo Find N6. Recent leaks suggest the new foldable is expected to be thinner and lighter than a traditional foldable phone. While the company has not officially confirmed the device or its launch date in China, a new leak suggests that testing may already be underway in India. According to a post on X by tipster Debayan Roy (@Gadgetsdata), the Oppo Find N6 “has entered testing in India.” The tipster further noted that “India launch is not confirmed yet, but there is a high possibility that it could launch in India.”

There has been some speculation about whether Oppo might launch the Find N6 under its own name or rebrand it as a OnePlus device. Oppo has previously rebranded phones for global markets, such as the OnePlus Open, which launched as a global version of the Oppo Find N3. The tipster clarified that the Find N6 is unlikely to come to India under the OnePlus name.

Early leaks have also revealed some potential features of the Find N6. It is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The top variant of the phone may also support satellite communication.

Furthermore, the Oppo Find N6 is expected to feature an 8.1-inch inner display and a 6.6-inch outer screen. It may be slimmer and lighter than most foldables, include wireless charging, and have customisable buttons along with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone is rumoured to pack a battery above 6,000mAh. For photography, the Find N6 will likely house a 50MP 1/1.4-inch Sony LYT808 main camera and a 50MP 3x thin periscope lens.
