The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor and runs on ColorOS 5.0 based upon Android 8.1 Oreo. It sports an iPhone X-like notch on the top of its screen and features a 6.23-inch full-HD+ display.
Oppo F7, the company’s latest smartphone, will be available in a flash sale today via Flipkart. Highlight of the device is its thin-bezel design and the notch on top of its display, which the company says is smaller than the iPhone X, and the 25MP front-facing camera with AI based features. It is priced at Rs 21,990 for the 64GB variant and costs Rs 26,990 for the 128GB ROM model. The regular sale of the mobile phone will commence from April 9 via both online and offline channels and it will be available in Solar Red and Moonlight Silver colour options, and it also comes in a special Diamond Black Edition.
For launch offers, buyers can avail a five percent discount on purchasing the smartphone using an ICICI credit cards on EMI transactions and Jio is also offering an additional 120GB 4G data with the device. Flipkart is offering a discount of Rs 1,000 off on the smartphone along with a five cashback for Axis bank buzz credit card holders. Vivo is also offering a one-time free screen replacement on the smartphone.
The company has touted the AI based “enhanced selfies” feature of the smartphone. It is said to determine 290 face positioning spots, while one is capturing a selfie and it also features AR stickers. Coming to the specifications, the Oppo F7 features a 6.23-inch full-HD+ display with a 1080x2280p resolution and a 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor and runs on ColorOS 5.0 based upon Android 8.1 Oreo. In the camera department, the smartphone features a single 16MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture lens and AI scene recognition features. It comes with a 25MP front-facing camera with a Sony IMX576 sensor, f/2.0 aperture and real-time HDR support. The device is powered by a 3400mAh battery, which boasts of 8.3 hours while gaming or 13.4 hours of video playback.
