Highlights:

  • Oppo F11 Pro official teaser hints at a bezel-less display design.
  • The phone’s unofficial teaser shows the phone’s design in entirety.

Oppo will soon launch the Oppo F11 Pro in India and while the exact launch date is yet to be revealed, the company is teasing the phone via its social media channels. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has posted a teaser video of the upcoming smartphone that suggests it will feature a bezel-less display without a notch. The short half-second video doesn’t reveal much about the phone but the in-video captions hint at a Panoramic screen on the phone, which seems just another fancy way of saying that it is a bezel-less display. Since the company revealed so little regarding the phone, a new video on YouTube has leaked almost everything there is to know about the upcoming Oppo F11 Pro, at least in terms of design.

The video below seems like it is the official promotional video of the Oppo F11 Pro that could be showcased during its launch. Although it’s unofficial, the opening shot of the video quite closely resembles the new official video teaser put out by Oppo with the front camera coalescing into the display to reveal an almost bezel-less display design. Side bezels seem almost non-existent but there’s no guarantee that the phone might come with no bezels at all since some companies sometimes over-exaggerate about their upcoming products. Coming back to the video, the front earpiece can be seen on top of the display and then, camera capabilities of the device are hinted at with what seems like a whole lot of zoom. We speculate that the 10x Hybrid Optical Zoom tech teased by the company might make its way to this model.

On the back, there are vertically stacked dual cameras with an LED flash module on top. While one of the cameras on the device will reportedly house a 48MP sensor, the other one could be a Time of Flight sensor that can measure distances easily. Below the dual cameras is a fingerprint sensor, which means there might not be an in-display fingerprint sensor on the handset. The Oppo F11 Pro could sport a pop-up camera module for the front, which is not very surprising since almost every completely bezel-less device seems to be going for the same technology. The right edge of the phone might feature the power button and the SIM tray, so we guess the volume rockers will be placed on the right spine. Finally, the video ends with a reveal of the colour options, which seem to be the Aurora Green and Thunder Black.

A previous report on the phone claims that the Oppo F11 Pro is a mid-range handset that could debut as the Oppo R19 in China. The handset is confirmed to come with the company’s Super Night Mode feature and AI-assisted stabilisation or AIS. The smartphone might sport a 6.5-inch AMOLED display and could be the first device to run on yet to be released MediaTek Helio P80 SoC. It could be launched with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage, along with a 4500mAh battery that supports VOOC charging. While the rear-placed fingerprint sensor was missing on a previously leaked image of the phone, the new video suggests otherwise. It remains to be seen how the phone actually looks and will it really be a mid-ranger with all the specs crammed in?
