OnePlus is tipped to launch its next lineup, the OnePlus 8 series in late March or April, which is a few weeks earlier than the regular update cycle. However, ahead of the launch, an alleged hands-on image of the OnePlus 8 Pro has leaked online. The image reiterates the leaked OnePlus 8 Pro renders and design schematics we have seen so far.

The latest development comes from Discord and the image was later shared on Twitter. We can see the phone wrapped in a protective, translucent sleeve, which is generally found inside a new retail unit. While the colour of the back panel is not visible, one can see the silhouette of the camera module. It shows a quad rear camera module accompanied by an LED flash.
Out of the four, three lenses are stacked together in a vertical pill-shaped module, which creates a small bump above the LED flash. The fourth camera resides above what appears to be like a laser autofocus module. The OnePlus 8 Pro is tipped to sport a 120Hz display refresh rate. OnePlus could ditch the pop-up camera design in favour of a punch-hole display.
Recently, an alleged OnePlus 8 Pro was seen sporting a punch-hole display surrounded by slim bezels. The button placement looks similar to the OnePlus 7 series, volume rockers are placed on the left edge, whereas the alert slider and power key seem to reside on the right edge of the device.
The OnePlus 8 Pro was also spotted on Geekbench that revealed that the flagship could be sold in a 12GB RAM variant, among others. OnePlus 8 Pro is codenamed ‘GALILEI IN2023’, features a ‘kona’ motherboard, and runs Android 10. The handset may feature wireless charging as well as an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
