OnePlus recently confirmed that its upcoming OnePlus 7 series of smartphones will consist of the OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro smartphones. However, the company’s CEO Pete Lau previously said that there will be an announcement today regarding the launch event of the company's next device. While the announcement is most likely about the OnePlus 7 series of handsets, there’s also a chance that the company might announce the launch event for the long-rumoured OnePlus TV. While there has been no announcement yet, we are keeping an eye on Lau’s Twitter page and will report of any announcements as soon as they happen.

As we mentioned earlier, Lau has confirmed some features of the upcoming OnePlus 7 Pro smartphone. The company executive says that the handset will be a flagship with an all-new “super-smooth” display and 5G support. While he says that the company is spending three times on developing the new display for the display being equipped on the OnePlus 7 Pro, there are no details as to what are the new features of the display.  However, previous and fresh leaks suggest that OnePlus’ next high-end flagship will come equipped with a 6.7-inch curved Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display sports a 90Hz refresh rate.

Additionally, the prolific tipster @Samsung_News_has outed purported specifications of the OnePlus 7, 7 Pro. The leaked specs reiterate a 6.7-inch display on the OnePlus 7 Pro but add the screen resolution of 3120x1440 pixels and a 19.5:9 display aspect ratio. On the other hand, the OnePlus 7 is touted to feature a slightly smaller 6.4-inch display with a 2340×1080p resolution. In terms of optics, the OnePlus 7 Pro seems to have a more powerful setup with triple rear cameras that consist of a 48MP main camera with f/1.6 aperture and OIS support. It is said to also come with an 8MP sensor that is paired with f/2,4 aperture lens, which is capable of 3x zoom. Finally a 16MP wide-angle camera with 117 degrees could also be present.

Talking about the cameras on the OnePlus 7, the tipster suggests that the company will stick with dual cameras on the device. It might feature a 48MP sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a 5MP secondary depth sensor. As per the report, the OnePlus 7 Pro could be announced in 6GB and 12GB RAM versions with 128GB and 256GB of storage respectively. The OnePlus 7 might also be announced. Keeping the lights on, on the OnePlus 7 Pro, could be a 4000mAh battery with 30W Warp Charge support whereas the OnePlus 7 could be backed by a 3700mAh battery that supports 20W fast charging.

Finally, the leaks hint at an in-display fingerprint sensor on the OnePlus 7 Pro and that the handset could be announced in Blue, Grey and Brown colour models. There’s no mention of whether an in-display fingerprint sensor will be used on the OnePlus 7 or not. The company is also said to launch the second generation of OnePlus Bullets Wireless earphones but there are no details about it as of now.
