OnePlus 6T pre-bookings to open at 12PM today on Amazon
To pre-book, users can purchase a Rs 1,000 Gift Card, which is redeemable during the purchase of the OnePlus 6T. Those who pre-book the device will get Type-C Bullets earphones with the smartphone.
OnePlus has already announced that it will launch the OnePlus 6T in India on October 30, during an event at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi. The company has now it has said that customers can pre-book their devices starting from 12PM today on Amazon.in, Croma outlets and OnePlus exclusive offline stores. Customers can buy an Amazon.in e-Gift Card worth Rs 1,000 that can be redeemed when buying the OnePlus 6T when it becomes available on open sale from November 2. These customers will also be entitled to receive a pair of OnePlus’ Type-C Bullets earphones, worth Rs 1,490 along with an additional Rs 500 in the form of Amazon Pay Balance on the purchase of the OnePlus 6T.
Steps to pre-book OnePlus 6T on Amazon
Customers first need to purchase the Rs 1,000 OnePlus 6T Amazon.in e-Gift Card on Amazon.in starting 12PM on October 9 from. These gift cards can be purchase here. Those who pre-book the smartphone can redeem the e-Gift Card on Amazon.in towards the purchase of the OnePlus 6T handset from November 2 and get an additional cashback of Rs 500 in the form of Amazon Pay balance. This will effectively give buyers a value of Rs 1,500 with the purchase of the Rs 1,000 Gift Card. As mentioned above, apart from these benefits, these buyers will also receive a pair of OnePlus’ new Type-C bullets earphones on purchase of the OnePlus 6T.
OnePlus has also confirmed that the OnePlus 6T will come with 3700 mAh battery accompanied by OnePlus’ Dash Charge technology. To recall, OnePlus 6 had a 3300mAh battery. OnePlus 6T is already confirmed to sport an in-display fingerprint sensor and is expected to feature a ‘waterdrop’ notch on a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen display, which may have a 2340x1080p resolution. The handset will most likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, which is coupled with the Adreno 630 GPU. The Chinese smartphone maker could launch the phone in 6GB and 8GB RAM versions, with 64GB/128GB/256GB inbuilt storage options.
Recently, OnePlus confirmed that the OnePlus 6T will not feature the 3.5mm headphone jack. Company CEO Pete Lau had said that the headphone jack has been removed from the OnePlus 6T to make space for the in-display fingerprint sensor. The company is calling the new unlocking mechanism Screen Unlock. Lau also noted that it was a tough decision to remove the headphone jack but says, “After you experience the Screen Unlock you'll fall in love with it, realize that it's the experience that you wanted.”
