After a series of teasers, leaks and speculations, OnePlus has finally introduced the 13R successor in the Indian market. The OnePlus 15R comes with an all new design, which seems to be inspired by the OnePlus 13s with a rectangular camera island. Along with that, the device also got upgrades in terms of performance, display and gaming. The device features a dual camera setup but there is no telephoto camera this time. The OnePlus 15R features a 6.83-inch display with up to 165Hz, with higher refresh rates enabled in select supported games. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and includes features such as Sun Display, Eye Comfort reminders, Motion Cues, gaming-focused eye comfort modes and more. The device also supports HDR10+ and HDR Vivid for multimedia playback. Under the hood, the OnePlus 15R comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 paired with Qualcomm’s Oryon CPU and Adreno 8-series GPU. The device offers 12GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. It runs OxygenOS 16.0 based on Android 16. The smartphone is equipped with a 7,400mAh battery and supports 80W fast charging.
In the camera department, the OnePlus 15R sports a dual rear camera setup led by a 50MP Sony IMX906 main sensor with optical image stabilisation along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, the phone houses a 32MP camera with autofocus, capable of recording 4K video at 30fps.
In terms of connectivity, the device comes with Wi-Fi 7 support, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, dual-band GPS with NavIC, an infrared remote control, dual nano-SIM slots and a USB Type-C port.
OnePlus 15R price in India and availability
The OnePlus 15R is priced at Rs 47,999 for the base 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, while the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at Rs 52,999. The device will be available on the OnePlus e-store, e-commerce platform, along with retail channels starting December 25. The customers can also get Rs 3,000 bank discount on using select bank cards.
