Final Verdict

The OnePlus 15R is built around three major hardware priorities: Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 performance, a 165Hz 1.5K display and a 7,400mAh battery. It also adds 80W SUPERVOOC charging, advanced thermal hardware, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and extensive IP protection. The main hardware compromises are the dual-camera rear setup without a dedicated telephoto lens, the 8MP ultra-wide camera and the absence of wireless charging. With OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 and a stated four-generation OS and six-year security-update commitment, the OnePlus 15R combines performance-focused hardware with long-term software support.
