OnePlus 15 tipped to get improved camera setup: Here’s what we know so far
OnePlus 15 to be the first flagship post-Hasselblad tie-up with new DetailMax Engine and upgraded 85mm telephoto lens.

OnePlus is gearing up for its next flagship launch, the OnePlus 15, expected to make its debut in China by October 2025, followed by India and global markets in early 2026. While official details are still under wraps, OnePlus has recently dropped the first sample image, following the announcement of its separation from Hasselblad. The company is introducing its in-house DetailMax Engine.
SurveyAs teased by OnePlus, the photos are shot on the upcoming device, using the 85mm-equivalent telephoto lens. Early impressions suggest a significant improvement over the 73mm-equivalent telephoto on the OnePlus 13. Apart from these, the handset’s other details have leaked. Here’s what we know so far about the upcoming OnePlus 15.
OnePlus 15 specs (Leaked)
On the hardware front, leaks suggest that the OnePlus 15 will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a blazing 165Hz refresh rate, one of the highest in the smartphone space. Powering the device is expected to be Qualcomm’s next-gen Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, coupled with a custom Oryon CPU, Adreno 840 GPU, LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage. The device could also pack a 16MB performance cache for multitasking and gaming performance.
The battery is also expected to receive upgrades, with reports hinting at a 7,300mAh unit along with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. The triple rear camera setup is expected to include a 50MP LYT700 primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto camera. On the front, it may house a 32MP camera for selfies.
Other rumoured highlights include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance, putting it in direct competition with Samsung’s and Apple’s premium offerings.

As for pricing, leaks suggest the OnePlus 15 could start around Rs 80,000 in India, a step up from the Rs 69,999 launch price of the OnePlus 13. If true, this would firmly position the device in the ultra-premium flagship segment.
