OnePlus has officially confirmed several major details about its upcoming flagship, the OnePlus 15, which is set to launch in India on November 13. Ahead of the official launch, the company has confirmed several key details of the upcoming device, including the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. OnePlus has now revealed more features that align closely with its Chinese counterpart. From its massive battery capacity and superfast charging to high-level cooling and water resistance, here are five key details about the OnePlus 15 that we already know.

OnePlus 15 display

The OnePlus 15 features a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate, promising ultra-smooth visuals and minimal motion blur. OnePlus has partnered with popular mobile titles such as Call of Duty: Mobile, Brawl Stars, and Clash of Clans to offer native 165fps gaming, ensuring a competitive edge in fast-paced action. The display also peaks at 1,800 nits under High Brightness Mode (HBM) while dropping to as low as one nit for comfortable nighttime viewing.

OnePlus 15 is confirmed to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. Connectivity sees an upgrade with a dedicated Wi-Fi chip to maintain strong, stable connections in crowded networks and a 3200Hz touch sampling rate for ultra-responsive touch controls.

OnePlus 15 battery and charging

Battery life is getting a significant upgrade this year. The OnePlus 15 houses a 7,300mAh battery, a substantial jump from the 6,000mAh unit on the OnePlus 13. It supports 120W SUPERVOOC wired and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging. The phone also introduces bypass charging, allowing power to flow directly from the charger during intensive gaming sessions to reduce heat buildup. OnePlus claims the battery will retain over 80% capacity after four years, even in extreme temperatures as low as -20°C.

OnePlus 15 durability

The OnePlus 15 is designed for rugged use, boasting IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K certifications, for protection against dust, water jets, and even submersion up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. For sustained performance, it incorporates a 360° Cryo-Velocity Cooling System with a 5,731 mm² 3D vapour chamber, ensuring efficient heat dissipation during gaming or multitasking.
