One UI 7 release: Will Samsung rollout Android 15 update for Galaxy S24 and S23 users this week?
One UI 7 is expected that the UI skin will first be rolled out to the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 users.
Reports suggest the stable One UI 7 update could roll out within the next week.
Samsung might also begin pushing One UI 7 to older devices in the first week of February.
During its Galaxy Unpacked event last month, Samsung also unveiled its custom Android 15-based UI skin- One UI 7, along with the three Galaxy S25 series smartphones. The beta version for the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra was first released in December last year. However, those with older models, including the Galaxy S23 series, have been left wondering when they’ll finally get the update.
One UI 7 will come with the Galaxy S25 series smartphones out of the box, but other users will have to wait. It is expected that the UI skin will first be rolled out to the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 users. While Samsung has yet to make an official announcement, reports suggest the stable One UI 7 update could roll out within the next week.
This timing also aligns with the global launch of the Galaxy S25 series on February 7, which ships with One UI 7 pre-installed. Why we expect the rollout so soon is that the latest One UI 7 beta for the Galaxy S24 series is reportedly stable.
Rumours also suggest that post the rollout for Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 series smartphones, Samsung could begin pushing One UI 7 to older devices in the first week of February. However, given the company’s history of phased rollouts, it might take a few weeks for all eligible models to receive the update.
OneUI 7 features
With its latest UI skin, Samsung has promised a bunch of improvements, focusing on AI-driven features and a refined user experience. Some key additions include Now Brief, Now Bar, a Gemini-powered shortcut on the power button, an upgraded Circle to Search, call transcription, Writing Assist, and Drawing Assist.
We will keep you updated once Samsung releases its official release timeline.
