Is this the much-awaited HTC One Max? Well, HTC says it's not!

HTC has termed the leaked ‘non-final artwork’ of its One Max as fake. HTC’s senior global online communications manager Jeff Gordon commented took to the comment section of tech sites posting the image to deny they were real.

Earlier, the HTC One Max, codenamed HTC T6, had made another appearance on the web. The latest glimpse of the much-awaited smartphone comes via @evleaks’ Google id, which claims to reveal the ‘non-final artwork’.

As per the leaked image, the phone looked to be enormous in size. Specifications of the smartphone are sketchy, but the recent round of leak had claimed the One Max features 5.9-inch display, 2.3Ghz Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 3300mAh battery. The HTC One Max is likely to have a full HD display along with an UltraPixel camera and BoomSound speakers.

The new information corroborates the previous rumours that claimed the smartphone has the same design elements as the original One. The One Max is expected to be about 9.4 mm thin and run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with the HTC Sense 5.5 UI and a 3300mAh battery.

So far, there’s no official word from HTC about the One Max. There are speculations the smartphone may go official at the forthcoming IFA event in Berlin.
