The HTC Butterfly S smartphone is now available online for pre-order online at Rs. 52,428. The device boasts of a 5-inch display, Android 4.2 OS and 4MP UltraPixel camera.
The HTC Butterfly S has been launched in India and is available for pre-order online with e-commerce stores Saholic and Infibeam with an expected launch date of September 11.
The HTC Butterfly S smartphone boasts of a 5 inch Super LCD 3 display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution with a pixel density of 440 ppi. It has a Corning Gorilla Glass display to protect it from scratches and everyday bumps. The device has a quad-core 1.9 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 mobile processor paired with 2 GB of RAM. It offers 16 GB of internal storage expandable via micro SD cards up to 64 GB. The phone runs on HTC Sense 5.0 UI and Android 4.2.
The HTC Butterfly S has a 4 megapixel rear camera with UltraPixel technology and HTC Zoe feature. It has a 2.1-megapixel wide-angle front facing camera as well. The device has front facing stereo speakers powered with Beats Audio and HTC BoomSound. On the connectivity front the smartphone offers NFC support, 3G, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth 4.0, USB and Wi-Fi. The Butterfly S comes with a non-removable 3200 mAh battery that delivers 29 hours of talk time and 544 hours of standby time, according to the company. The Butterfly S is available in Black, White, Red and Grey variants.
HTC also unveiled its new HTC Desire 601 smartphone recently. The phone has a 4.5-inch touchscreen with 960 x 540 pixels resolution. The device will support HTC’s Sense 5.5 UI with the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS. It is powered by a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and 1 GB of RAM. The smartphone has an 8 MP rear camera, Beats Audio and a 2,100 mAh battery. The price and launch date of the device has not been revealed yet.
