Live images leaked online show all three colourways
Nothing Phone 4b launches on 7 July at 4 PM IST
Nothing is set to launch the Phone 4b on 7 July, the first device in its new “b” series. Nothing says that the new Phone 4b is aimed at offering the brand’s core design and software experience at a more accessible price. Ahead of the Phone 4b launch, Nothing has confirmed several details itself, while the rumour mill has filled in much of the rest.
SurveyNothing Phone 4b design and specs
Nothing has officially confirmed the Phone (4b) uses a Snapdragon chipset, though the company has not named the exact model yet. It has also officially revealed the phone’s design with a dual rear camera setup, Nothing’s signature transparent back panel with visible screws and a compact Glyph Bar positioned beneath the camera module, similar in style to the Phone (3a) series, continuing to handle notifications, charging status and app alerts.

The most reliable detail comes from leaked live images showing all three colourways alongside the phone’s About Phone screen, which confirms the device runs Nothing OS 4.1 on Android 16, is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display. The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS and an 8MP secondary camera, likely an ultrawide, alongside a 16MP front camera.
The battery is confirmed at 6,000mAh, a notable jump from the 5,400mAh figure tipster Yogesh Brar had reported earlier. If accurate, this would be the largest battery on any Nothing phone to date. Brar’s broader leak also pointed to the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, an 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB storage split and a 120Hz refresh rate, all consistent with the leaked screenshots. Separately, tipster Debayan Roy said the phone will launch in black, white and blue.
There is some online speculation, including discussion on Reddit, that the Phone (4b)’s design resembles CMF more than a typical Nothing phone. This lines up with something we reported earlier: Nothing’s CMF brand had been developing a CMF Phone 3 before cancelling those plans due to rising memory prices. It’s plausible the Phone (4b) is a reworked version of that cancelled device, repositioned under the Nothing brand instead, though this remains speculation rather than something the company has confirmed.
Nothing Phone 4b expected price
Nothing has not confirmed pricing for obvious reasons. But, early rumours place it around Rs 30,000, which would put it up against phones like the Motorola Edge 70 series, OnePlus Nord CE models and Samsung’s recently launched Galaxy M47. Given the wider memory chip shortage currently hiking prices up across the industry, where the Phone (4b) actually lands at launch will be worth watching closely. With just a week to go, full specifications and pricing will be confirmed at Nothing’s launch event on 7 July.
