Oppo is reportedly working on its next foldable smartphone, the rumoured Oppo Find N7. The smartphone is said to bring several upgrades in display, performance, cameras and battery life when compared to its predecessors. While the company has not yet officially announced anything, a tipster has recently shared details about the upcoming device, giving users a clear idea about what the device could look like. He suggested that the device will come packed with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset and may feature a quad camera setup at the back. According to the tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Oppo Find N7 may come equipped with a 7.6-inch display. He further added that the panel will sport a seamless hinge solution to ensure that the users don’t face the crease issue commonly found on foldables. However, rummours claim that it may feature a 5.5-inch cover screen.
Under the hood the smartphone is tipped to come packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset, which is built on 2 nm technology. Leaks point to the smartphone possibly sporting up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.
Earlier reports also claimed that the Oppo Find N7 may house a 6,500 mAh battery coupled with 100 W wired charging and 50 W wireless charging support. Talking about the camera module, the handset is expected to feature a Hasselblad-tuned quad camera setup at the back. It may include a 200MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens and a 3MP multispectral sensor. For selfies and video calls, the device is also said to house a 32MP front camera on both screens.
