The game maker unveils a host of details about the gaming title at regular intervals to keep GTA 6 relevant in the hype machine. Plus, the rest is taken care of by the rumour mill and leaksters. Continuing this series of updates, a new report has an update that can be worthy for people who were awaiting the game’s release on PCs.
SurveyGTA 6 PC release date could fall in Q1 2027
According to GamesBeat, the Take-Two Interactive-owned company could release GTA 6’s PC-optimised version in the first quarter next year. This implies the game may launch anywhere between January, February or March 2027, citing anonymous sources familiar with the matter, the outlet reported.
For context, Rockstar Games has already confirmed that GTA 6 will arrive on compatible gaming consoles on November 19. However, an official release for PC still remains a mystery. If the recent leak turns out to be true, players awaiting a GTA 6 PC release might have to wait for just a few months, unlike 1.5+ years for the previous iteration (Grand Theft Auto V).
Since consoles form a small part of the audience base in comparison to PC players, a swift release for computers could reportedly help Rockstar Games monetise the game as soon as possible to recover costs of the high production budget of GTA VI that spans over $2 billion.
