Nokia Asha 230 dual-SIM now available in India for Rs. 3,449

Nokia has officially launched its new Asha smart feature phone – Asha 230 – in India. Priced at Rs. 3,449, the Nokia Asha 230 is available via the company’s official e-store. The site has currently listed the dual-SIM version of the phone.

Announced at the MWC 2014, the Nokia Asha 230 has a 2.8-inch display with 320 x 240 pixels resolution. The handset measures 99.5 x 58.6 x 13.2 mm and weighs 89.3 g. The Nokia Asha 230 1.3MP camera, 64MB of RAM and supports microSD. Connectivity options include GSM, 2G, USB and Bluetooth 3.0.

The phone comes with Xpress Browser, which the company claims makes mobile Internet experience more efficient by compressesing Internet data. The Nokia Asha 230 also supports Microsoft Bing search via the Nokia Xpress Browser. The Asha 230 supports firmware updates Over-the-Air (FOTA).

The feature phone comes preloaded with apps such as Facebook, Twitter, WeChat, LINE, WhatsApp, Nokia Slam and Nokia Nearby. A 1020 mAh battery powers the phone.
