Nokia 6 sold out on Amazon India in less than a minute, next sale on August 30

Nokia 6, the premium mid-range smartphone from HMD Global will go on its second sale on August 30. The smartphone priced at Rs 14,999 went on its first sale yesterday and HMD Global says that it sold out in less than a minute. The company didn't share exact sales number but Amazon India received over 1.2 million registrations ahead of its sale.

The e-commerce giant has started registration for the next sale and the smartphone will be available for purchase at 12 noon. Amazon Prime members will get a cash back of Rs 1,000 when they use Amazon Pay balance to purchase the device. Vodafone is offering 45GB additional 4G data for 5 months while MakeMyTrip is giving Rs 2,500 off on Hotel and Flight booking. The smartphone comes pre-installed with Kindle app and users will get up to 80 percent off on eBook purchase.

In terms of specifications, the Nokia 6 features a 5.5-inch full HD display with Corning's Gorilla Glass protection. The smartphone sports a metal unibody design and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 430 chipset. The smartphone comes with 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and supports expandable storage up to 128GB via SD card slot.

The Nokia 6 gets a 16MP primary camera with phase detect autofocus, f/2.0 aperture and dual tone flash. It also sports an 8MP selfie shooter with autofocus, f/2.0 aperture and support for 84-degree wide field of view. The smartphone supports WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, GPS, a dual speaker with Dolby Atmos and 3.5mm audio jack. Nokia 6 runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat and will be getting Android 8.0 Oreo update in the coming months. The smartphone houses a 3000mAh battery and is available in matte black, tempered blue and silver colour options.
