Samsung has finally introduced its much-anticipated flagship smartphone in India, the Galaxy S26 Ultra at the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event. Compared to the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Samsung’s latest flagship offers a variety of upgrades, including a new built-in Privacy Display for limiting side-angle visibility, alongside upgraded on-device Galaxy AI features and notable design promises. The company has finally taken the user feedback seriously and added faster charging support along with upgraded camera capability and efficiency.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra features a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with an adaptive 1Hz to 120Hz refresh rate and Vision Booster support. It measures 163.6 x 78.1 x 7.9mm and weighs 214g. Under the hood, the device gets the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor and is paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. Speaking of the battery backup, the device houses a 5,000 mAh battery with an upgraded 60W wired fast charging, along with wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare.
As for the camera, the device comes with a 200MP main sensor with 2x optical zoom and f/1.4 aperture. It also offers a 50MP ultra-wide lens, a 50MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and 10x optical quality zoom, and a 10MP telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom. However, we still get a 12MP front camera.
The handset runs Android 16 with One UI 8.5 with new Galaxy AI features and supports 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth 6.0. It also carries an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
