Nokia 3310 listed for pre-order, hints at April 28 release
HIGHLIGHTS

Nokia 3310 was announced at Mobile World Congress in February and is the most anticipated Nokia device in recent times

Nokia 3310, the feature phone resurrected by HMD Global at Mobile World Congress is now available for pre-orders in Germany and Austria. Nokiapoweruser reports that few retailers have opened pre-orders for Nokia 3310 and the smartphone is expected to release on April 28.

HMD Global, the Nokia licensee had initially indicated that the Nokia 3310 will hit store shelves ahead of the company's Android-based smartphones Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6. The company also announced its plans to simultaneously launch the new products in 120 different markets. As far as India launch is concerned, HMD Global is expected to announce the new devices either at the end of May or early June. All the four models are likely to be assembled in India in collaboration with Foxconn.

To recall, Nokia 3310 comes with a new design language that offers subtle differences from the original variant. The feature phone comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA display, removable 1200mAh battery rated to last up to 31 days in standby. The Nokia 3310 was announced in war, red, dark blue, yellow and grey colour variants. It has 16MB internal memory, 2MP rear camera with flash and unfortunately supports only 2G networks.

HMD Global had recently told Digit that all Nokia-branded feature phones will come with full replacement guarantee. The company also announced that its devices will be available via online as well as offline retail channels.
