New leaked HTC M7 screenshots hint at a simpler Sense v5.0
The next HTC flagship smartphone, dubbed as the M7, is rumoured to come with a cleaner and simpler Sense v5.0 software. The M7 is rumoured to be showcased at the CES 2013.
Fresh details of the HTC M7, rumoured to be unveiled at the ongoing CES 2013, have leaked to the Internet. The new leaked screenshots show the company’s latest Sense 5.0 software.
The alleged screenshots of the device show a new lock screen where HTC has made some major changes: removing the ring and adding the weather information. According to reports, the icons will have a more “holo” look.
One of the screenshots focusses on the settings of the device. The settings have new icons as well as the new switch toggles. The design of the M7 is said to be inspired from the One X, but without the drilled headset holes. Check out the screenshots below, courtesy Weibo:
Not much is known about the M7 apart from the rumoured specifications. The device is said to run on Android 4.2 or 4.1 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor. Other rumoured specs include a 4.7 inch 1080p SLCD 3 display, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and 13-MP camera. It’s also rumoured to include 4G and 802.11ac, the next generation of Wi-Fi.
HTC is likely to showcase the M7, also dubbed as the company’s next flagship smartphone, at the CES 2013. Earlier it was rumoured to be unveiled at the MWC 2013. But a tipster called @Football4PDA revealed “By some indirect information M7 might be announced on CES event.
