Moto X4, the mid-range Android smartphone will now launch in India on November 13. Lenovo-owned Motorola had initially planned to launch the smartphone in the country on October 3, but had to postpone launch without giving a reason.

A report this month suggested that the Moto X4 launch was pushed back due to production delays and India launch was likely delayed due to the same reason. Motorola has not confirmed the reason, but it has confirmed that the smartphone will debut here next month. The announcement came via Twitter reply from the company.

To recall, the Moto X4 was announced at IFA 2017 last month and Motorola is resurrecting its Moto X series after more than a year. The Moto X4 is a mid-range smartphone featuring a unibody metal casing fused with glass back. The handset sports a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS LCD display and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 630 mobile platform.

The Moto X4 comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, further expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card slot. Like most other smartphones in the premium mid-range segment, the Moto X4 also gets a dual rear camera setup. It features a combination of a 12MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture and phase detection autofocus, coupled with a secondary 8MP camera backed by a wide-angle lens. The rear camera setup also includes dual-LED flash and supports camera effects like bokeh mode and 4K video recording at 30fps. The smartphone gets a 16MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and dedicated LED flash.

The Moto X4 supports connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and NFC, but lacks a 3.5mm audio jack. The Moto X4 runs Android 7.1 Nougat and houses a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is backed by a 3000mAh battery, along with support for turbocharging. The Moto X4 also comes in an Android One variant, but it remains unclear which variant Motorola plans to launch in India.
