Moto Razr 2023 leak suggests 3 notable differences from other folding phones
HIGHLIGHTS

Moto Razr 2023 renders have leaked giving us a good look at its likely design.

Motorola could depart from its previous design language and that sets it apart from other foldables in the market.

Here, we compare Moto Razr 2023 with Oppo Find N2 Flip and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 in terms of their design. We rely on the new leaks for the Moto Razr 2023 design reference.

Moto Razr 2023 design has leaked courtesy of TechOutlook and Evleaks. It tells us the new Moto Razr is going to look different from its predecessor, and the incumbent flipping foldables in the market. That includes the Oppo Find N2 Flip and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. Let’s compare the three devices from a design standpoint as that’s pretty much the only thing we know about the upcoming Motorola folding phone.

Moto Razr 2023 vs Oppo Find N2 Flip vs Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4

1. Bigger display

Moto

Moto Razr 2023 seems to have a bigger cover display than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Oppo Find N2 Flip. Oppo Find N2 Flip has a vertical screen but it also appears smaller in dimension compared to the Moto Razr’s cover screen.

2. UI and notification system

The leaked Moto Razr renders also show what looks like a new notification management interface. We will have to wait to see how interactions with notifications work on its larger window. In comparison, the Oppo Find N2 Flip offers smart widgets for things like quick phone settings and utilities. It also shows previews of photos and videos. Well, Z Flip 4 also offers cute and colourful watch faces, a glance view for notifications and quick toggles for important settings.

3. Camera placement

Moto Razr 2023

Moto Razr 2023 has got two rear camera rings like its rivals but while Samsung and Oppo have arranged the cameras vertically, Motorola has placed them horizontally. Unlike the other two, Moto Razr has its cameras within the cover screen. So, there are two cutouts for the lenses and one for the flash.

Another render shows the main screen of the device without any camera cutout or notch. Could Motorola equip the new Razr with an under-display camera? Only time can tell. We will keep you posted on the leaks and rumours about the device leading up to its launch.
