Flipkart has just slashed Rs. 2000 on the popular Moto G smartphone.
Flipkart has slashed price of the Moto G by Rs. 2,000. After the price cut, the 8GB version is selling for Rs. 10,499, while the 16GB is available for Rs. 11,999.
Flipkart and Motorola had launched the Moto G in February this year. The smartpone emerged a market changer with its attractive price point and brand value. Following the Moto G launch, we saw a number of high spec'd smartphones launching in that price range.

The latest price drop will further heat up the competition in the budget smartphone segment. Another possibility could be that Flipkart might be clearing its stock well before the new version of the smartphone is officially launched.
There are already rumours about a Moto G2. The smartphone is rumoured to feature 720p display, an upgraded quad-core ARM V7 processor, 8MP camera and dual-SIM functionality in select regions.
