Micromax launches Canvas 2 Colors smartphone for Rs 10,299

Micromax has launched the Canvas 2 Colors A120 for Rs 10,299 in India. The smartphone is available on ecommerce retailer snapdeal.com with a dispatch date of 2 business days and comes with replaceable back cover options.

The Canvas 2 Colors has a 5-inch HD IPS display with 720×1280 pixels resolution. It has a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone has 4GB of internal storage expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card slot. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box.

The Micromax Canvas 2 Colors has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera for video calling and self portrait. Connectivity-wise, the smartphone offers dual-SIM (GSM GSM) with dual standby, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS support. It packs a 2,000mAh battery which, according to the company, offers 225 hours of standby time and 7.5 hours of talk time.

The Canvas 2 Colors A120 smartphone comes with changeable back panels in Red and Blue colors with a Dark Grey variant, and Yellow and Green back panels with a White variant.

Micromax recently launched the Canvas Doodle 3 smartphone for Rs 8,500. The Canvas Doodle 3 has a 6-inch FWVGA display with a sensor magnetic flip cover to protect the screen from dust and scratches. The smartphone has a 1.3GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS out-of-the-box. The Doodle 3 has a 5MP autofocus rear camera and a VGA front camera. The smartphone offers 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity options. It packs a 2,500mAh battery that delivers 9 hours of talk time as claimed by Micromax.
