Micromax's long-rumoured Canvas HD Plus A190 was launched over the weekend for Rs. 13,500. Running Android 4.4 KitKat, the Canvas HD A190 is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6591 hexa-core processor along with 1GB of RAM.
The Micromax Canvas HD Plus A190 sports a 5-inch 720p display. It has an 8MP rear camera and 2MP front facing camera. The smartphone has 8GB built-in storage, expandable up to 32GB. For connectivity, the smartphone supports dual-SIM, 2G, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and GPS. It is powered by a 2000 mAh battery.
Last week, Micromax reportedly launched a new entry-level smartphone – Canvas Fire A093. The smartphone features 4-inch IPS display, Android 4.4 KitKat, 1.3 GHz quad-core processor along with 512MB of RAM and 5MP fixed focus rear camera.

The Canvas HD A190 is yet another high spec'd smartphone in the budget segment. While the companies are launching octa-core and quad-core based smartphones, few have experimented with hexa-core as well. Recently, Karbonn launched Titanium Hexa, 5.5-inch hexa-core smartphone for Rs. 16,990.
