Micromax A114 Canvas 2.2 smartphone launched, boasts of Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, dual-SIM and quad-core processor.
Micromax has launched a new mid range Android dual-SIM (GSM GSM) smartphone called the A114 Canvas 2.2. The smartphone is available for Rs 12,999 on e-commerce site Flipkart.com.
The Micromax Canvas 2.2 smartphone has a 5-inch qHD IPS display with 540 x 960 pixels resolution. It has a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM. The smartphone has an 8 MP auto focus rear camera with flash and a 2 MP front camera for video calling. It has 4GB inbuilt storage expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card slot.
The Micromax A114 Canvas 2.2 packs a 2000mAh battery that according to company claims delivers up to 7 hours of talk time and 290 hours of standby time. Connectivity wise the smartphone offers Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE, GPS/ AGPS and 3G support. It comes with inbuilt G sensor, light and proximity sensors. The smartphone runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the Box. Micromax has pre-loaded the Canvas 2.2 with popular apps like MLive, Spull, Game Hub, Gmail, etc.
Micromax has recently launched the Canvas A116i for Rs 12,439. The smartphone is the successor to the Canvas A116 HD. It runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, upgradeable to Android 4.2.1. The smartphone offers dual-SIM support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE and 3G connectivity. It has a quad-core 1.2 GHz processor with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone has a large 5-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution and has a pixel density of 294ppi. It has an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front camera.
