Lumia 930 launches worldwide for $599, coming soon to India

Nokia’s brand new Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone, the Lumia 930, is now available worldwide for a price of $599 and is expected to arrive in India very soon

Microsoft has confirmed the availability of the Lumia 930 and has put a price tag of $599 (Rs. 35,800 approx.) on the device. The smartphone will be arriving in Asia, Europe and the Middle East and is expected to arrive in India in the coming weeks as it is already listed on e-commerce websites like Flipkart and HomeShop 18.

The handset was first revealed at Microsoft's Build conference in April this year along with the Lumia 630 and Lumia 635.The  Lumia 930 features a 5 inch full HD (1080×1920 pixel) ClearBlack OLED display with Gorilla Glass 3, a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage, a 20MP PureView camera with dual-LED flash with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and Carl Zeiss optics and also a front-facing 1.2MP wide-angle camera. On the connectivity side you will get Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Micro-USB, 3G and LTE and to juice up the smartphone there is a 2420mAh battery. The Lumia 930 comes with Nokia’s signature polycarbonate back along with an aluminium frame and metal edges.
