LG has introduced two new entry level Android 4.4 based smartphones on its Brazil website- the G2 Lite and L Prime. The LG G2 Lite is a basic variants of the LG G2 mini, while LG L Prime is a part of the new L-series.

The LG G2 Lite has a 4.5-inch IPS display with 480 x 800 pixels WVGA display and a pixel density of 207ppi. It has a quad-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm processors with 1 GB RAM. The G2 Lite has 4 GB of inbuilt storage expandable via microSD card slot up to 32GB. It has an 8 MP rear camera and a 0.3 MP front camera. The G2 Lite is backed by an 1820mAh battery.

The LG L Prime has a 5-inch WVGA IPS display with a pixel density of 196ppi. The smartphone has a 1.3 GHz quad core processor with 1 GB of RAM. It has 8 GB built-in storage. It has an 8 MP rear camera with HD (720x1280) video recording and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera. The smartphone is backed by 2460mAh battery.

According to the LG's website listing, both the LG G2 Lite and L Prime run on Android 4.4 KitKat OS and support dual-SIM functionality. Connectivity options included on the LG G2 Lite and L Prime are Bluetooth, GPS, Micro-USB, Wi-Fi, GPRS/ EDGE and 3G.

LG has not mentioned the price of the smartphones on its website, G4forGames notes that the smartphones are available in Brazil via retailers at roughly $260-$270 (Rs. 16,000-16,500).

LG recently introduced a dual-SIM version of its flagship smartphone LG G3 called the LG G3 Dual LTE. The smartphone is available in China and Hong Kong for approx Rs 39,000 and will be launching soon in Russia.
