Lava launches two new entry-level Jelly Bean smartphones, 3G 356 and 3G 402

Competition in the entry-level Android smartphone heats up with the launch of two new Lava phones - 3G 356 and 3G 402.

Lava heats up the entry-level 3G smartphone segment with the launch of two new phones – Lava 3G 356 and Lava 3G 402. Priced at Rs. 4,499 and Rs. 5,499 respectively, Lava 3G 356 and 3G 402 are available in multiple colours. Both the smartphones come with screen guard and silicon soft pouch.

The Lava 3G 356 has a 3.5-inch display with 480 x 320 pixels density. Running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the smartphone is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Mediatek 6572 Cortex A7 processor. It has 256MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM. The Lava 3G 356 sports a 1.3MP rear camera and a VGA camera.

For connectivity, the smartphone supports Bluetooth with A2DP Support, Wi-Fi 802.11 g/b/n, USB, WAP/GPRS/EDGE/3G. The Lava 3G 356 comes preloaded with various apps such as WhatsApp, Twitter, Gtalk and Facebook.

The Lava 3G 402 has a 4-inch display with 480 x 320 pixels density. Running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the smartphone is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Mediatek 6572 Cortex A7 processor. The Lava 3G 402 sports a 3MP rear camera and a 1.3MP front camera.

For connectivity, the smartphone supports Bluetooth with A2DP Support, Wi-Fi 802.11 g/b/n, USB, WAP/GPRS/EDGE/3G. The Lava 3G 402 comes with a 1500mAh battery.
