Lava launches Iris 506q and 505 mid range dual sim phablets for Rs 11,700 and Rs 8,999 respectively.

Lava has quietly launched two new Android phablets in India- the Iris 506q and 505. The tablets boast of  5- inch display screens, dual-SIM with dual standby support, Android 4.2 OS and dual-core processors.

Both the Lava mobiles feature 5-inch display screens, powerful 1.2GHz dual-core processor and run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The smartphones have a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front camera for video calling. The devices have 512MB of RAM, 4GB of inbuilt storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot and a 2000mAh battery.

The Lava Iris 506Q phablet has a 5-inch qHD display with 540 x 960 pixels resolution. On the connectivity front the smartphone offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3G. The device has a rear 5MP camera which supports 99 continuous shots, panorama, face and smile detection. It has a 2000mAh battery that the company claims delivers 330 minutes (2G) and 240 minutes (3G) talktime.

The Lava Iris 505 has a 5-inch display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution. It supports dual-SIM (GSM GSM) with dual standby. On the connectivity front the device offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, EDGE, GPRS and 3G. It includes 2000mAh battery which according to company claims delivers up to 6 hours of talktime on 2G network and 4.5 hrs on 3G.

The Iris 506Q and 505 are available for Rs 11,700 and Rs 8,999 respectively via snapdeal.com. Snapdeal is also offering 3 month EMI schemes with zero processing fees to attract the consumers.
