Latest iPhone 6s leaks show large front camera, force touch chip

With only nine days remaining for Apple’s launch event, new leaks related to the iPhone 6s have surfaced. The new leaks, reported by 9to5Mac, include images and a video in which the display of the upcoming device has been shown and compared with the current iPhone 6. The leak importantly reveals a large front camera sensor, Force Touch chip, and a few other internal components.

During the comparison of the iPhone 6s' display with the iPhone 6, the large front camera sensor can be noticed easily. As of now, the current generation of iPhones come with a 1.2MP front camera sensor, and hence, the upcoming generation is expected to come with a camera with larger megapixel count than what features presently.

On the back of the display, there is a rectangular cut-out, which is said to be the chip for Force Touch technology. The technology brings haptic feedback to the user, gauging the extent of touch force. A simple tap on the WiFi icon on the Control Center will allow the user to enable/disable the WiFi connection, while a tap and hold will take it to Settings, from where other actions like switching WiFi networks and adjusting WiFi settings can be done. It is a prelude to the various things that Force Touch will let iOS users do. As of now, the Force Touch technology has been used in Apple Watch, and the latest Macbook Pro.

 Besides these, other things revealed in the leak are a couple of flex cables at the top, a few QR codes and numbers, and obviously, the cut-out for the home button.

Last week, there were some leaks from a China telecom official, which claimed that the upcoming iPhone 6s will come with 2GB of RAM, a 12MP rear shooter, and an A9 chipset. As mentioned above, the Apple event is only 9 days away, and these rumors will be confirmed soon enough. In a new development, the Apple event will be streamed live to Windows 10 users.
