Close on the heels of the Karbonn Titanium S5 launch, Karbonn launches the Smart A12 featuring dual-SIM, ICS and 5MP rear camera.
Karbonn has tied up with Broadcom, a global semiconductor company, to launch a new smartphone called the Karbonn Smart A12. Priced at Rs. 7,990, the Smart A12 runs Android 4.0 ICS and is powered by a Broadcom BCM21654G chipset that includes a 1GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor. Karbonn says the chipset includes a 2G/3G cellular radio (RF), a power management unit (PMU), and an ‘advanced connectivity suite’ including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.
Other specifications of the Smart A12 include 4.5-inch multi-touch capacitive touch screen with 960x540p display, dual-SIM capabilities (GSM GSM), 5MP rear camera, 0.4MP front camera, 512MB of RAM, microSD slot and 1,8000 mAh battery.
The Karbonn Smart A12 comes preloaded with Messaging applications like WhatsApp, G Talk & Google Plus Messenger; Social Networking connects like Facebook & Youtube; along with a host of other apps like Kingsoft Office, Gmail, News, Weather and Saavn Music.

The Karbonn Smart A12 was recently spotted at online retail stores in February this year. Saholic lists the device at Rs. 7,499 whereas Flipkart offers at Rs. 7,990.
