Intex launches Cloud X4 and Cloud Y2 entry-level Android 4.2 smartphones

Intex steps up its 'Cloud' range portfolio as it adds Cloud X4 and Cloud Y2. Both the phones target the entry-level segment and feature 3G, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and 1GHz processor.

Intex Technologies has introduced two new smartphones under its Cloud series – Cloud X4 and Cloud Y2. Both the new Intex phones target the entry-level smartphone segment in India. The Cloud X4 is priced at Rs. 4,590, while the Cloud Y2 is available at Rs. 6,190.

The Intex Cloud X4 and Cloud Y2 come preloaded with Matrabhasha app, which allows users to use the smartphone in their native language. There’s also a Intex Life Box, mobile lifestyle portal and Intex Play, store to a plethora of popular applications and games. Other preloaded apps include Intex movies, YouTube, Facebook, Skype and Hungama.

The Intex Cloud X4 comes with dual-SIM connectivity and sports a 3.5-inch display with 320×480 pixels resolution. The smartphone runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1GHz processor with 256 MB RAM and 512 MB of ROM. The smartphone supports storage up to 32GV via a microSD card.

The Cloud X4 has a 3.2MP rear camera with a VGA front camera. For connectivity, the smartphone supports 3G, EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, WAP and GPRS support. It has a 1,500 mAh battery that delivers up to 7 hours of talktime and 300 hours of standby time.

The Intex Cloud Y2 comes with a 4-inch display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels. It sports a 5MP rear camera and 1.3MP front camera. The smartphone runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor; 512 MB RAM and 4GB ROM.

The Cloud Y2 has 3G, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and Wi-Fi connectivity options. The smartphone has a 1500mAh battery that offers a talktime up to 7 hours.
