After numerous leaks and rumours, Moto has finally unveiled the X4 smartphone. The new smartphone sports a 5.2-inch Full HD display and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 platform. The phone is available in two variants, one with 3GB RAM/32GB Storage, and the other with 4GB RAM/64GB storage. The new phone will be available in Europe starting at EUR 399 (approx Rs 30,300), and the company says that the phone will be available in the US and other global markets later this fall.

The phone is equipped with a 3000mAh battery, with the company’s TurboPower fast charging system. The company claims that the phone can offer six hours of use with 15 minutes of charging. The phone is also water resistant and is IP68 certified. Besides this, it comes with Amazon Alexa.

The highlight of the Moto X4 is the dual-rear camera setup. The phone uses a combination of 12MP and 8MP cameras at the back. The 12MP sensor sports a Dual Autofocus Pixel Sensor and a f/2.0 aperture lens. The 8MP sensor sports an ultra-wide angle lens with a 120 degree field of view. The company also notes that the rear camera will offer real-time depth effect. Further, users will be able to use the camera for landmark and object recognition. It can be used to scan barcodes, QRcodes, and business cards. 

At the front of the phone is a 16MP camera with a f/2.0 aperture lens. The company says that the phone features an adaptive low light mode for when the ambient light is not enoug and offers panorama selfies.
