Idea introduces ICS-based ‘Ivory’ dual-SIM 3G smartphone for Rs. 7,390
Idea Ivory is the new Android 3G smartphone from the telecom operator. The device features Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, a 1GHz processor and a 3.5-inch full touchscreen.
Idea Cellular has introduced a new budget Android 3G smartphone called the Idea Ivory. Priced at Rs. 7,390, the Idea device runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and a 1GHz processor.
The key features of the Idea Ivory include dual-SIM support, 3.5-inch full touchscreen, built-in 4GB storage, 512MB of RAM, 3.2MP rear camera, 3G, Android Browser, G Sensor, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, pre-installed social media apps – Android GMS standard application, Facebook, Twitter, IMAP, HTML, Music Video Player, Documents To Go and multi e-mail POP3. The Idea Ivory is available in two colour options – White and Black.
Like all the other previous smartphones from Idea, the Ivory also comes with the operator’s data usage offer for Idea 3G users. The company is offering 1GB of free data every month for the first 3 months and free Idea TV for just Rs. 261.
Prior to the Ivory, Idea had launched the ‘Aurus’ smartphone in the price range. The device featured dual-SIM (GSM GSM) support, 3.5-inch screen touchscreen, Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread OS, 800MHz processor and 256MB of RAM. Read more about the Idea Aurus smartphone here.
