Huawei launches Honor 5C smartphone, T1 tablet in India

Huawei’s Honor brand has launched two new devices in India, namely the 5C smartphone and the T1 tablet. The two devices are priced at Rs. 10,999 and Rs. 6,999 respectively and will be available from Flipkart and HiHonor.com. The both will be available from 2pm today. The Honor 5C features a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS display and is powered by an octa-core Kirin 650 SoC with 2GB of RAM. Other features include 13MP and 8MP cameras as well as 16GB of onboard storage that can be expanded by up to 128GB. The phone is equipped with a 3000mAh battery and has a fingerprint sensor located below the rear camera. The Honor 5C runs Android Marshmallow v6.0 and the company says that rooting the device will not void the warranty. The device was launched in China a couple of months ago.
The Honor T1 tablet features a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and is powered by a 1.2Ghz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM. The device features 8GB of storage and a 4800mAh battery. It also features a 5MP rear and a 0.3MP front cameras. The tablet runs Android KitKat v4.4.
