HTC may soon showcase the long-rumoured Butterfly S at its June 19 event.
HTC and Taiwanese carrier Chunghwa Telecom have reportedly sent out press invites for an event on June 19. Reports suggest the company will showcase its recently announced dual-SIM Desire 600 smartphone along with the rumoured Butterfly S.
The Butterfly S is believed to a slight upgrade from the original Butterfly. The smartphone is expected to feature a 5-inch 1080p display, microSD card slot, UltraPixel camera and a higher capacity battery.
To recall, the HTC Desire 600 sports a 4.5-inch display with qHD resolution, 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 chipset with Cortex A5 processor, Adreno 203 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8MP rear camera and 1.6MP front camera. The smartphone features 8GB built-in storage, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and 1,860mAh battery.
