Internet has been abuzz with leaks of a Windows Phone version of HTC's flagship M8 smartphone. While there have already been multiple rumours, the smartphone has made an appearance on a website of a Dutch wireless carrier.
The listing placed right between the iPhone 5S and Samasung Galaxy S4, the M8 Windows Phone shows up with Windows Phone 8.1's familiar live tiles. HTC is gearing up for an August 18 event in New York where it is expected to officially unveil the M8 Windows Phone.
According to rumours, the M8 will feature a 5.5 inch QHD display, 3 GB of RAM and LTE connectivity. The smartphone will have regular megapixel camera instead of HTC's ultrapixel camera. According to reports, the M8 will run the latest Windows Phone 8.1 GDR1 that brings support for smart cases.
Appearance on the Dutch website strongly indicates HTC will be launching the smartphone globally. More details are most likely to be disclosed on August 19. In the meanwhile, check out the HTC One M8 Windows Phone listing on the Dutch website here.
