The HTC M8, company's flagship smartphone for 2014, has been spotted in AnTuTu benchmarking database, revealing what to expect from the smartphone.

HTC’s much rumoured smartphone, M8, has made an appearance in the AnTuTu benchmarking database, revealing the features of what’s considered to be the successor of the flagship HTC One. The M8 is expected to come with an improved processor – leaked specifications reveal the M8 will run the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset. It’s notable the HTC One, which was codenamed M7 before the launch, runs the Snapdragon 600.

The M8 gets benchmark scores of 36532, putting itself in the league of rival flagship devices such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and LG G2. Leaked AnTuTu specs suggest, the smartphone features Adreno 330 graphics processor, 5-inch 1080p display, 4MP UltraPixel camera, 2.1MP front-facing camera, 3GB of RAM, and the latest Android 4.4 KitKat with Sense UI 6.0.

The HTC M8 is expected to be available next year, and compete with smartphones running the recently-announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor.
