HTC Knight aka EVO Shift 4G reveals images and Gingerbread specs

The HTC Knight, also called HTC Speedy, has been reportedly spotted in the wild in its new shining armour, riding on the WiMAX network carrier Sprint. It also carries the title: “EVO shift 4G”, being named after its identical looks with EVO 4G, the original Sprint-HTC success story.

[RELATED_ARTICLE]HTC Knight is speculated to feature a 3.7-inch display, a QWERTY slider keypad, an 8MP camera, and a 1GHz processor. It will apparently be running Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) when it releases on January 6th, 2011, and is expected to incorporate HTC’s Sense UI with necessary updates to keep in sync with the rapidly changing Android platform. Although it is still not confirmed as to which parts of the globe would witness the launch in less than a month from now; we are more than anxious to know when and in what avatar it could reveal itself in India.

Meanwhile, let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope that it would be lighter on the wallet than the Desire Z!
