HTC introduces the Desire 400, its new 4.3-inch dual-SIM smartphone

The HTC Desire 400 is a dual-SIM smartphone with 4.3-inch display. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor along with 1GB of RAM.

HTC has quietly expanded its smartphone portfolio with the new Desire 400. The new HTC smartphone has been spotted on a couple of regional websites. However, the different websites have different versions of the specifications of the smartphone.

According to the listing on the Russian websites, the Desire 400 supports dual-SIM, sports a 4.3-inch display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor along with 1GB of RAM.

The smartphone has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 1.6MP secondary camera and 4GB built-in storage along with microSD memory slot. Check out the HTC Russia listing here.

The Ukrainian HTC website listing, however, says the smartphone has a 5MP rear camera, VGA front camera and a dual-core processor. Check it out here.

Both versions come with Sense UI and Blinkfeed. The smartphone is powered by a 1,800 mAh battery, which is rated to deliver 12 hours of talktime on 3G. So far, there’s no information on pricing and global availability of the Desire 400 dual-SIM.

HTC has lately launched quite a few dual-SIM Desire smartphones – Desire 700 dual-SIM, Desire 601 dual-SIM and Desire 501 dual-SIM.

The HTC Desire 501 dual-SIM and new Desire 400 share similar display size.
