Honor 10 GT with 8GB RAM launched in China
HIGHLIGHTS

Honor 10 GT comes with the same specifications as the Honor 10 device that was launched for Rs 32,999 in May in India.

Honor has launched Honor 10 GT smartphone with 8GB RAM and its proprietary GPU Turbo technology in China. The Chinese electronics giant claims that the GPU Turbo technology, which is currently in beta mode, will improve the device’s performance by up to 60 percent and at the same time reduce the power consumption by up to 30 percent. Apart from the RAM, the smartphone has same specifications as its predecessor Honor 10 (Review) that was unveiled in May in India.

Honor 10 GT has a 5.84-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 1080 x 2280 resolution at 432 ppi and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The screen is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass. The smartphone has a notch which can be hidden while playing videos and games. Under the hood, the Huawei Honor 10 GT is powered by an Octa core Hisilicon Kirin 970 chipset and Mali-G72 MP12 graphics processor. The phone has non-expandable 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB storage variants. The phone runs on Huawei's custom EMUI 8.1 skin atop Android 8.1 Oreo OS.

In the camera department, the Honor 10 GT has a horizontal dual-camera system with 24 MP + 16 MP sensors and an LED flash and a 24 MP front shooter with Face Detection and High Dynamic Range (HDR) capabilities. The device houses a 3,400 mAh battery with fast charging capabilities through a Type-C port. The fingerprint sensor is incorporated in the Home button at the bottom of the display.

While the colour options are not known yet, it is expected that the smartphone will be available in Mirage Purple, Mirage Blue, Magic Night Black and Gray Gull colours. As far as the pricing is concerned, the company has not revealed the price as of now. Given its similar specifications to Honor 10, Honor 10 GT may be available for 2,599 yuan (Rs 27,000 approx). In India, Honor 10 is available for Rs 32,999 on Flipkart.
